A Different Rose

My Desert Rose



Like the camel...






she defies the desert sun...



emerging triumphant....





after the drought....





only to be brought to her knees...



by torrential rains...

    @ Carolyn - This is a plant popular for its root formation above ground...they have interesting shapes.

    @ One - Actually I have 10 plants, but these flowers are from 2 of my best . One of the plants has 3 varieties marcotted on it.

  14. These are beautiful blooms. I'm just used to seeing the desert rose as a houseplant succulent. It's nice to be able to see it grown naturally outside and see it's potential as a large shrub.
