Lovely Mellow Yellow

Presenting the Second Cousins from Mygardenhaven! These two varieties of  yellow hibiscus dwell side-by-side in neighbouring flower-beds. They were both acquired from a local garden nursery, and have been blooming regularly in their new location. Guess they like their new neighbourhood!

Here's one for the macro album:

And another for company.

I love them both for their colour, their form, their performance, and their impressive appearance!

  1. The hibiscus are gorgeous. I think yellow is the most beautiful. The tiny little spider on the giant yellow petal makes it even more stunning. Great macro shots!

    A TOUCH OF THE GOLD

    They say just a touch of the gold
    Will make even timid ones bold;
    Try yellow, not blue,
    And bright amber too—
    And don’t be left out in the cold!

  20. Having joined Mosaic Monday this week I am now enjoying blog hopping around the world admiring everyone else's beautiful photography and gaining inspiration. It cheers me when so much of the world around us is in turmoil for one reason or another.

    I am also a keen gardener and by coincidence my mosaic has a similar theme to yours this week.
