  2. @ Donna - My double white lotus are difficult to capture at their best. They last only 3 days.

@ Malar - Thanks. You can see that it is already past its prime, but that's not to say it cannot be still pretty.

@ Jama - Thank you very much my dear Jama.

  4. Sometimes, I find difficulty in photography white and red flowers too. Maybe it is due to the colour tone or glare on the camera lens? I love lotus flowers. They are gorgeous and I'd also like to eat the seeds from the lotus pod.

  7. @ Jan n Jer - Thanks...that's my most impressive lotus. My pink one has a single layer of petals.

@ Autumn Belle - Red flowers are more difficult actually. Oh, lotus seeds are lovely to eat fresh and straight from the plant.

@ Kim - The green is from the colour saturation I think.

@ LindyLouMac in Italy - Thanks on both counts.

  15. @ Ambika - Thanks for visiting mygardenhaven.

@ Carolina Mountains - I was fortunate to get this plant from a lotus-collector. He doesn't usually sell his plants except through recommendations.

@ eileeninmd, Kala and Honey - I really appreciate your comments.
